COVID-19 Numbers Continue to go up in Manitoba.

Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin has released the latest numbers.  He announced 24 new cases bringing the total to 96.  He noted the total number of deaths related to COVID-19 remains at one and at this time there are four individuals receiving care in hospital one of which is in intensive care, all others are recovering at home while they have two individuals listed as recovered.

             

Roussin confirmed there is one presumptive case in the north but they do not share personal public health information or specific communities where a case is reported just the health region.  He adds if you are aware of a case in your community practice safe public distancing which you should be doing anyway.
