COVOD-19 Numbers Continue to Climb in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Manitoba Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Brent Roussin reported yesterday there have been new cases of COVID-19 in the province.  He reported 8 new cases bringing their total cases to 72 and the total number of deaths related to COVID-19 remains at one and at this time there is one individual receiving care in ICU with another admitted to hospital, all other cases are recovering at home.  He adds they have reports that two individuals are listed as recovered.

             

The majority of cases continue to be reported in the Winnipeg Health Region with none reported as of yesterday in the Northern Health Region. At last report Saskatchewan had 134 confirmed cases with 26 in the north. 18 of Saskatchewan new cases reported over the weekend were linked to a Christopher Lake snowmobile rally held on Saturday March 14th.
