Helga Bryant says staff retention is something the health authority takes into account when planning for potential cases of COVID-19 in the region.

 

Bryant adds that there are provincial human resources strategies being put in place to help with staffing.

 

 She explains the COVID-19 testing sites are staffed with their own staff, they just re-deployed and re-assigned folks to work at the testing sites.

 

Bryant reminds northern Manitobans that the testing sites in Thompson, Flin Flon, and The Pas are open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but they do require a referral.
