The Numbers Tell More Than One Story.

Manitoba Health Minster Cameron Frieson is asking Manitobans not to be overly concerned about the number of cases of COVID-19 as it is inevitable at this point but the numbers are also rising because our system is working, because they’re undertaking testing, because people are working hard in the background.  He says their job is to make sure as those numbers rise people should know what to do to keep themselves safe, keep your neighbors safe, families safe and the people you may not know safe and they need the compliance of Manitobans, they need their co-operation and they need acts of compassion every day.

Shared Health advises the Health Links health information line should not be used for general information on the virus as they are now receiving over two thousand calls a day for referrals for testing and urgent information.  They have quadrupled their staff but there is still a wait time of around one and a half hours.  Complete accurate information can be found on the government website www.manitoba.ca/covid19.
