Flin Flon School Superintendent Tammy Ballantyne has issued a letter to families regarding local schools.  She states if your child is sick with a cough, fever or runny nose keep them at home.  As of Monday March 23^rd classes will be suspended until Monday April 13^th.  Schools will refrain from any assemblies of students in more than groups of 50, all school extra-curricular activities and sporting events have been cancelled until further notice including their Regional Science Fair and the local Heritage Fair, all field trips have been cancelled until further notice, parents are strongly encouraged to call their student’s teachers during the week of March 23^rd to 27^th to discuss any concerns regarding report cards as family teacher interviews have been cancelled and school use for outside user groups have been cancelled.                                    

Ballantyne adds if students have a compromised immune system it would be recommended they remain home this week as well.
