Community Futures Greenstone Has the Room to Expand Its Services.

 

 

The official opening of the new Greenstone office took place yesterday afternoon.  Manager Becky Cianflone says they have expanded what they offer now they are in the former Co-op Admin offices at 31 Main Street. She explains the number one advantage that they have is that they’re located with a number of projects and support services for entrepreneurs from youth to women to anybody looking to start a business in any sector so they’re all co-located and able to really assist entrepreneurs in a much more meaningful way.

             

Board Chair Tom Therien says it’s great to have a ground level Main Street office giving people easier access to a variety of services to get together and work towards the future of Flin Flon.  In extending congratulations Mayor and Board member Cal Huntley paid tribute to former Manager the late Bunny Burke noting she made Greenstone a key operation in our region. CEO of the Community Economic Fund Oswald Sawh added starting a business can sometimes be scary so people now have a one stop place for support.
