You Can Join Millions of Others by Recycling Your Cell Phone.

A free cell phone recycling program recently celebrated its tenth anniversary.  Recycle My Cell reports just under 432 thousand devices were recovered last year bringing their grand total of recycled or reused cell phones over the past decade to just under 7 million.

The President of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association Robert Ghiz says they are thrilled to have played a significant part in encouraging more Canadians to recycle or reuse their old devices rather than throwing them in the trash or stuffing them in a drawer.

In Flin Flon Bell MTS is part of Recycle My Cell so you can drop used cell phones off at 35 Main Street.  The local Recycling Centre also recycles cell phones through their battery recycling program.
