The Flin Flon Pride Committee is holding their third annual Pride parade at 11 Saturday morning August 17th. The committee’s Melissa Streitle encourages all community groups and businesses to help make Pride a success again this year by entering a float in the parade. She explains you can be a walking group, have a car or truck, you can ride your bike or make an incredibly elaborate float, your group can decide what works best for you, floats can be as simple or extravagant as you like. She adds they have had an overwhelming amount of support again this year and cannot wait to see their parade grow to show our support for equality and human rights.
You can enter the parade by emailing flinflonpride@gmail.com, message them on Facebook or pick up and drop off forms at Pharmasave on Main Street by August 15th.
