Things Continue to Move Forward at the Hudbay Snow Lake Camp.

A recent fire destroyed the kitchen at Hudbays Snow Lake Camp.  The camp had to be closed as the water, electrical and fire alarm systems were damaged in all of the sleeping trailers.

In a notice to employees Monday their Vice-President of the Manitoba Business Unit Robert Assabqui reported in the existing camp two dorms have now been opened up and they are working to repair the rest of the sleeping trailers which are expected to be back in service hopefully by the end of August.  He added a new kitchen is expected to be ready by today and additional sleeping trailers and beds are being brought in.

Regarding the workforce Assabqui reports the Lalor and Stall employees are now back at work and the Administration Team will continue to coordinate the accommodation arrangements. He adds his thanks to all who assisted following the fire calling that assistance truly incredible.
