The Flin Flon Neighborhood Revitalization Corporation and the Friendship Centre Youth Group begin a Flower Power Concert Series tomorrow.  The Corporation’s Laurence Gillespie says they’ll be at Pioneer Square on Main Street tomorrow from 12 to 4. He says their summer student Jacob Harvie has recruited a stalwart band of some of Flin Flon’s most interesting musicians and it will also involve a variety of children’s games, they’ll have a special Flower Power cake to slice up and hand out and there’ll be Flin Flon trivia questions hosted by a special MC.

Gillespie adds the next two concerts will move to Rotary Park on Saturdays July 27^th and August 3^rd.  The flower baskets on Main Street were provided by the Flin Flon Neighborhood Revitalization Corporation, the City of Flin Flon and Hudbay.
