The Kivalliq Trade Show is a major annual business event in the Nunavut Region and CEDF’s CEO Oswald Sawh says it’s a great opportunity for northern Manitoba companies to explore new business and learn about the market. He says this is a region that is very under serviced for both products and services everyday things that we take for granted, there is a huge gap in a lot of these services so for northern businesses, the ones that are really just in the back yard of Nunavut to be able to see okay there’s an opportunity for me to service this region.
The Kivalliq Trade Show will be held in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut from September 23rd to 25th. The deadline to register for the Show is July 26th and up to eight northern businesses will get financial support up to 25 hundred dollars to cover travel costs to the Show.
