The Flin Flon Trout Festival fishing derby ran from June 20th to 30th. Organizer Dave Osika lists the top five cash winners with first going to Ray Lavis with a 43 ¼ inch fish and he got the 15 hundred dollar prize, second place went to Gerry Robertson with 37 5/8 inches and he got the thousand dollar prize, third went to Joel Hucaluk with 36 inches receiving 750 dollars, fourth was Ray Lavis again with a 33 incher and receiving another 500 dollars and fifth was Brittany Peeters with 31 5/8 inches and she got 250 dollars.
There were other fish prizes as well as draws for prizes and the winners will be contacted.
