Ralph McLean Is Running for The Green Party in Our Federal Riding.

The Pas native Ralph McLean will be running in the upcoming federal election for the Green Party in our riding of Churchill Keewatinook  Aski.  McLean originally got involved with the Green Party about 12 years ago and decided move back to Northern Manitoba to run for MP for our riding after living in Alberta for a few years.

He states being Indigenous he wants to make sure that Indigenous issues are coming forward especially for our riding like we need affordable housing, we need clean drinking water, infrastructure, we obviously need more work on the rail line, there’s a lot of environmental clean ups, we need a sewage lagoon for The Pas and there’s a lot of lithium in the north and we’re going to need to get at that. McLean added that there is a lot of growth and opportunity for our region and the people here have a lot to offer.
