The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada was planning their second annual Light the Night Walk in Flin Flon on Saturday.  Their Area Manager Nicolle Amyotte says they’ve found a lot of people are busy with other activities that weekend. She explains they were very sad to have to cancel the Flin Flon walk due to low registration but would absolutely love if you are able to join them in walks in Saskatoon, Brandon or Winnipeg happening in the fall and they did want to thank you as well for your support last year as you really came through and did a great event and they hope they can come back one day.

Last year the Flin Flon walk raised over eight thousand dollars in support of the first local walk to help fund world class Canadian research and provide support services at no cost to thousands of blood cancer patients, survivors and families.
