Flin Flon Students Were Successful at a Heritage Fair.

Fifteen McIsaac and Ruth Betts students and their nine projects took part in the Red River Heritage Fair in Winnipeg last week.  These students were among the top winners in the local Heritage Fair held in March.  One of the local organizers Susanne Westhaver says the students did really well in Winnipeg bringing home four awards.  She reports Addie Neill won twice including the Family History Award and the Manitoba Museum for Manitoba History as well, Cassidy Alexander and Nikki Keramydas won the Sustainable Development Award for their project on Auto Recycling and Callie Erickson from Ruth Betts Community School won the Heritage From the Heart Award for her project on Kathleen Rice.

This is the sixth year local students have taken part in the Red River Heritage Fair.
