Flin Flon MLA Tom Lindsey is seeking a second term in the Manitoba Legislature.  Lindsey was nominated to be the NDP candidate in Flin Flon constituency over the weekend.  He outlines the issues he sees as priorities in this area noting health care is number one including northern patient transportation and being able to give birth in Flin Flon.  He adds on the wider constituency the job issue is a huge issue as we see mining on the decline and while Hudbay says Triple Seven is going to last a little bit longer we need to see more exploration and things like that to kick start the economy and so far the only thing this government has ever talked about is tourism which is good but tourism in conjunction with some good paying jobs will be really what’s needed.

Lindsey says provincially issues are health care and possible job cuts as a result of the ongoing education study.
