The Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce said thank you to Bunny Burke for her years of service as a member of the Chamber and in the community as she retires from her position with the Chamber.  Past President Dianne Russell reviewed some of her many involvements whether it was a barbeque, festival event, spring clean up, community parties, economic committees, Rotary, Chamber, Cadets, Legion, municipal provincial committees, the list goes on and Bunny’s name was always connected.  Russell said as she became more involved in the community and Chamber specifically she came to realize that Bunny was always an integral part of pretty much every aspect.  It could have been Secretary, Treasure, President, fund raiser, it really didn’t matter you were always there.

Other members shared their memories of working on projects with Bunny.  She received a certificate of appreciation for her over 40 years with the Chamber as well as a framed picture of her with the city mascot Flinty.
