The Flin Flon Environment Council is asking you to remember Earth Day Monday. Recycling Center Administrator Deb Odegaard explains Earth Day actually started in 1970 when a Republican and a Democrat were appalled by an oil spill and it’s been great that it continues and its focus has changed from different kinds of issues but it’s always important to remember that earth is what provides us life and we need to take care of it so April 22nd is a good day but it would be good to make every day Earth Day.
Odegaard also reminds you their annual meeting will be held on Monday the 29th at 7 in Council Chambers at City Hall and they will be at the Leisure Show next Thursday to Saturday at the Creighton Sportex.
