Monologues From Across Canada Will be Part of International Womens Week in Flin Flon.

The Womens Resource Center is featuring Cabaret Monologues on Sunday as part of International Women’s Week.  The group’s Artistic Director Hope McIntyre says the production is themed Here I Am exploring identity in several ways.  She explains for International Women’s Week for about 15 years now they have been putting together stories through monologues and also some spoken word or song or movement to really try to explain the full breadth of women’s stories and experiences and they’re super excited for the first time to bring some of this work out to Flin Flon.

McIntyre adds it will also include comedy and puppetry. Cabaret Monologues will be presented Sunday evening at 7 at Johnny’s Social Club on Green Street.  Admission is free with refreshments and dainties provided.
