Saskatchewans Lieutenant Governor Has Been Inspired by the People of the Province.

Lieutenant Governor W. Thomas Molloy in his Christmas message says this has been a remarkable year since his appointment in March.  He says as he travelled across the province he has been very impressed with their outstanding volunteers and is grateful to everyone who donated their time to improve the lives of others. He also thanks the many Indigenous communities that invited him to visit and through their events has witnesses both a respect for cultural traditions and creative innovation expressing his gratitude to everyone who is exploring how we can achieve reconciliation together.  Molloy adds this year he has also met many inspiring young people as the youth of the province are providing leadership in many areas including mental health, overcoming racism and welcoming new Canadians.  He concludes our impressive young leaders are reason for great hope for our future adding he is truly grateful to call Saskatchewan home.
