At the latest meeting of the Flin Flon School Board teacher Natalie Milligan presented the next French Immersion trip proposal.  The trip allows students to learn actively in a new context and gives students a taste of travel and helps them in their future travels later.  The trip planned for the spring of 2020 will see students spend two nights in Ottawa, two nights in Montreal and two in Quebec taking in historical tours.  EF Educational Tours will be the Company the trip will be booked through as they offer a lot of support, a 24 hour tour director, security and much more.

This was the last regular meeting for this group of Trustees due to the election. Superintendent Constance McCleese wanted to publicly express that she felt it has been an honor and pleasure sharing a common bond in making education the best in our community.  Board members reflected on the past four years noting that great strides have been made moving forward, our School Division is ready for the future and it also says a lot about the teaching staff.
