Flin Flon Voters Will Be Heading to the Polling Stations Tomorrow.

 

Tomorrow is election day for six City Councilors and seven School Trustees in Flin Flon.  Mayor Cal Huntley was re-elected by acclamation.  There are twelve candidates to choose from for Council and eight for School Board.

             

Polls will be open from 8 am to 8 pm.  People living from the Ross Lake area though the uptown area and South Hudson will vote at the Community Center while those below the hill including Birchview, Willowvale and Channing areas will vote at the Northminster Memorial United Church.  Voters must have been a resident of Flin Flon Manitoba or Saskatchewan as a home owner or renter for at least six months and must have one piece of government issued photo ID such as a drivers licence or passport or at least two other pieces of identification that could include a health card.  If you haven’t voted before poll clerks will be there to help you out.
