Foran Mining has announced results from three additional holes from their summer resource definition drill program at their McIlvenna Bay copper zinc deposit 65 kilometers west of Flin Flon. One of the holes intersected three contiguous zones of copper rich sulphide mineralization with a combined core length of 29.24 meters grading 2.76 percent copper equivalent.
Their President Patrick Soares says the three holes all targeted the copper and zinc rich Upper West Zone and continue to intersect significant grades and widths of mineralization. Of particular interest he adds is the thick sequence of high grade copper in the deeper part of the deposit and this speaks to the expansion potential that still exists as they continue to explore McIlvenna. The summer drill program was completed September 24th.
