Soup Days are underway for another season. Salvation Army Major Debbie Allen says Soup Days started Monday and are being well used. She explains they average 40 people but Monday they actually served 49 people including 10 children and that’s about what they finished with in the spring. She says sometimes they have larger crowds but that’s about an average.
Allen adds Soup Days run with volunteers from several churches in our community Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Anglican Church on Church Street and everyone is welcome.
