The Flin Flon Fire Department held their annual Boot Drive on Third Avenue earlier this month. Fire Chief Chad Cooper says this year’s Firefighter’s Charity Boot Drive in partnership with Flin Flon Scotia Bank held Friday, September 7th raised a total of 13,844 dollars. He notes every year it amazes him how generous and caring the community is when raising money for charities so on behalf of the Flin Flon Fire Department he extends their heartfelt thank you to the community.
The money raised will support the Manitoba Firefighters Burn Fund, Flin Flon Community Adult Learning Center and the Flin Flon Northern Lights Regional Training Center.
