The Flin Flon and District Environment Council is holding a Hazardous Waste Collection Day tomorrow afternoon.  Recycling Center Administrator Deb Odegaard explains hazardous waste is any of those things that have danger symbols on them whether it’s corrosive, explosive, poisonous or flammable and it would include all of the aerosol cans, paints, pesticides, gasoline, those types of things noting gasoline containers have to be left at the Landfill. Odegaard adds this day is a special day for hazardous waste but the Hazardous Waste Depot is actually open year round so if people don’t make it on Saturday they can bring it any time to the Flin Flon Landfill.

The hazardous waste Collection Day runs from 2 to 4 tomorrow afternoon at the Flin Flon Landfill.
