Around two o’clock this morning the power went off for 600 residents in Flin Flon. Manitoba Hydro reports areas affected included Boam, Ross, Adams, parts of Green Street and parts of Channing. They report the power was off for about four hours as crews patrolled the lines but they were unable to determine the cause but power was restored.  They have installed equipment to monitor the line to determine if is there is a problem.

The Hydro being off affected water pressure from the Gas Bar west including Uptown, South Hudson and Ross Lake areas. With the power restored the water is back to normal but if you are still experiencing problems you can call 204-681-7511.
