Flu shot clinics are coming up soon in our area.  Immunize Canada reminds you it’s important to get your flu shot to protect yourself from serious illness but also when you get it you protect the people around you so if you know children under the age of one or people who have cancer or other serious diseases and if you spend time with them you can help protect them from the flu by getting the flu shot.

Flu shots will be available at the Flin Flon Primary Health Care Centre from10 to 4 October 27^th, November 4th and December 7^th and from 1 to 7 November 9^th and 23^rd and at the Cranberry Portage Wellness Centre October 26^th and November 9^th from 1 to 5.  A complete list for the region is available on the Northern Health Region website.

Last year 150 Manitobans diagnosed with influenza were hospitalized and the virus contributed to the death of 12 Manitobans.
