Information Sessions are Available on Dementia.

 

The Primary Health Care Centre will be hosting a couple of telehealth seminars presented by the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. Their Program Director Norma Kirkby says they are part of Telehealth Family Education for Those Experiencing Dementia.  She explains their Dementia Basics Program that will run on Telehealth on Thursday, October 19th is going to be about understanding the warning signs of the disease and understanding how as the disease progresses those warning signs impact a persons abilities and therefore lead us to learning new strategies in order to care for the person well.
