The Relay for Life is coming up September 9th from noon to midnight at Queen’s Park. The Relay raises money and awareness for the Cancer Society. The Committee’s Margot Gray says teams continue to register as plans develop for a fun day of walking and other activities. She says they’ve got kids activities because they are closing off Green Street so they’ll have access to the Kin Park there, there’ll be bouncy houses, a penny parade, a 50-50, the Calm Air tickets and they have an Edmonton Oilers jersey and it’s on an auction on the internet right now so people can click on and peruse the jersey and you can bid on it that night.
