She Continues Walking the Distance it Takes to Get to Winnipeg.

Inspired by her daughters treatment for ovarian cancer Paulette Adolphe is collecting pledges and walking 7 kilometers a night around Flin Flon to add up to the total kilometers to Winnipeg.  She will then join her daughter’s team Amanda’s Roses in Winnipeg to take part in the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope September 10th. Adolphe reported yesterday to date she has been walking for 71 days and so far she has walked 611 kilometers or 380 miles which means she’s got 149 kilometers to go and if you look on a map of Manitoba she has from Flin Flon going over Easterville down number six passed Ashern and is on her way to Eriksdale and Lundar now.

Adolphe adds she will have an information and pledge booth at Pharmasave Saturday from 11 to 4 and those making pledges will be entered into a draw for prizes donated by local artists.  Pledge sheets are also available at VA Flin Flon and the Big Dipper.
