The Provincial Fire Center Manager for Saskatchewan Dennis Trueman says fires in the Creighton Denare Beach area are still not contained.  He reports the Wilkin Fire north of Jan Lake is approximately 1520 hectares, the Granite Fire west of Granite Lake is approximately 3274 hectares and the Flo Fire south of Florence Lake is approximately 16 hundred hectares at this time.  He says crews are currently working hard and making good progress but current weather conditions are making it difficult to contain.

Trueman adds crews and helicopters continue to work on these fires and there is some rain in the forecast but that brings with it erratic winds which can make fire fighting a little more difficult.
