Denare Beach Recreation offered day camps for 4 to 11 year olds over the summer. The camps wrapped up on Friday and the camp’s Kaylee Banting says summer went really well. She says the most kids they had was 11 but they only had 11 for two days, it usually ranged from 6 to 8 kids everyday. She adds they did some relays, crafts, mostly they went outside and swam or played on the jungle gym which was a favorite thing to do.
Themes for crafts and activities over the summer included Under the Sea, Camping, Outer Space, Science, Superheroes, the Olympics and Pirates.
