The Flinty Committee is ready to go with Flinty’s 55th birthday party Sunday afternoon. The Committee’s Bunny Burke says they’ll have something for everyone including their usual beef on a bun, hot dogs, home fries that the Rotary Club cooks for them and they have the traditional birthday cake for Flinty. She adds they also have a teddy bear picnic, dinosaur races, the fish pond, a geocache event and the Friendship Center and RHA are bringing down some games for the kids.
The party will also include the installation of another Flin Flonner on the Wall of Honor. The party runs from 1 to 4 Sunday afternoon at the Flin Flon Station Museum.
