Health Minister Kelvin Goertzen has announced appointments to the boards of Manitobas five regional health authorities. Appointed to the eleven member board in the Northern Health Region were June Chu owner and operator of the Silver Leaf Hotel and Motel in Wabowden, Angela Enright a consultant on economic development, international trade and real estate from Snow Lake and Mary Head a member of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation and the manager responsible for natural resources.  Reappointed to the northern board is Judith Kolada from Thompson.

Goertzen noted the regional health authority boards guide the important work of providing the right care in the right place at the right time adding these new board members will help guide health care as they work to strengthen the system and improve access to consistent quality care across the province.
