A Summer Literacy Camp is Underway for Creighton School Students.

The Saskatchewan government has invested 500 thousand dollars to support school divisions in delivering 20 summer literacy camps across the province.  Creighton School Division received funding and their camp is underway for students entering grades one to six with full registration running at Creighton School in the morning and Denare Beach in the afternoon until July 27th.

Since 2010 the government has supported the summer literacy camps which help Saskatchewan children and families improve their literacy skills and be better prepared to return to school in the fall. Students participate in a variety of activities including individual and group reading, allowing students to take books home, inviting community members, parents and Elders to visit, lead activities and read to the students.
