Denare Beach Recreation is holding a Rainbow Run on August 12th. Recreation Director Crystal Banting explains this is their first annual Rainbow Run and they’re hoping it only gets bigger and better every year. She says it’s a two kilometer fun run through the streets of Denare Beach where you’re going to end up covered in colored powder like in a color run that cities have. She adds they do have online registration at www.denarebeach.net and it’s just going to be a fun time to come out and you don’t have to be physically fit or a runner you just need to come out and have some fun.
The cost to register is 25 dollars and the deadline is this Friday. For information you can call the Rec Office at 306-362-2050. The Run begins at 11 am on Saturday, August 12th at the Denareplex.
