The Freedom Outreach Program is holding its 5th annual Walk For Freedom Saturday May 27th. The group’s Kandie Lagore says the walk will support their programs based at Denare Beach. She explains the idea is to raise funds for the Freedom Outreach Centre which reaches out to men who are struggling with addictions and helps them to overcome their addictions and it’s a one year program so it helps them to run their program.
Sponsor sheets are now available by calling Kandie at 204-271-4403 or from representatives of the Alliance, Pentecostal, Mennonite, Baptist and Salvation Army churches. This year’s prize for the participant who raises the most money is a weekend stay for two at a Victoria Inn of your choice.
