In celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary the RCMP are asking for help in naming 14 foals born this spring at their breeding farm in Ontario. A winner will be selected from each of the 13 provinces and territories and an entry submitted by a school class will also be selected.
To qualify names must begin with the letter “O”; an individual entry must include a child’s first name only, school, city, province and email address; school class entries must include the teacher’s name, school, city, province and email address; entrants must be 14 years old or younger; only one entry per child and online entries must be received no later than April 30th.
To enter online go to your favorite search engine and type in name the foal contest Canada 150 edition. Winners will receive a number of RCMP prizes including a framed picture of the foal. Winner will be announced in May on the RCMP website.
