The Addictions Foundation of Manitoba is holding a Community Forum Wednesday night. The Foundation’s Sheri Fandrey says the forum will cover what youth and families need to know. She says she’ll give a presentation on Fentanyl and some of the specific aspects of Fentanyl that make it so dangerous as a street drug. She adds her colleague from Flin Flon Marlee Salamondra Milley who is the youth school based counselor will be providing a presentation on how to have those difficult conversations with young people about drugs and then they’ll open up the discussion between a panel of local people plus herself and take any questions people may have from the floor.
The Forum takes place Wednesday night from 7 to 9 at Hapnot Collegiate and it’s open to anyone interested.
