On February 21st the RCMP began investigating the shooting of 16 year old Mark Clarence Michel in Pelican Narrows. They determined there was another victim a 17 year old female who did not require medical treatment. River Blade Storm Linklater was arrested and charged in Sandy Bay Court with first degree murder, attempted murder and participation in a criminal organization.
RCMP have now arrested and charged three more people in connection with this incident. River Jason James Charles, Layton Adolph McCallum and a 17 year old male youth have been charged with first degree murder and participation in a criminal organization. They have all made their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
