The Manitoba government has approved 72 infrastructure renewal projects across the province. Education Minister Ian Wishart says they will invest more than 44 million dollars to ensure the structural integrity of public schools and the continued safety of students and educators.

Funding is included for three projects in Flin Flon School Division that will see roof replacements take place at Ecole McIsaac School, Ruth Betts Community School and Hapnot Collegiate.

Wishart noted the projects will be completed within a time frame of six to twenty-four months following the award of tenders and start of construction.
