The Primary Health Care Center continues to host a series of telehealth seminars presented by the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.  The Society’s First Link Coordinator Marilyn Maartense says they are part of Telehealth Family Education for Those Experiencing Dementia.  She says the next session on March 21^st is Understanding the Psychoses and Anxiety in Dementia and that will be with regards to the behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia which may include hallucinations, delusions, psychoses, anxiety so just to gain a better understanding of how these changes may manifest in the person with dementia and be informed of some of the strategies of our approaches to these changes.
