The Flin Flon Public Library is celebrating Freedom to Read Week next week. Their Administrator Cindy McLean says this year they will be showing the movie The Book Thief which is based on the famous best selling book and is the story of a young girl who transformed lives during World War Two. She says they’re going to be serving popcorn, cookies and coffee every day from 2 to 3:30 in the Library for Freedom to Read Week.
McLean adds you can also look over their display of banned books and why they were banned and they are offering a chance at prizes for checking out banned books.
