You Can Be Part of a Day of Kindness.

Saturday is Kin Canada’s National Day of Kindness as Kinsmen members and clubs celebrate their founding in February of 1920.  The Flin Flon Kinsmen Clubs Vice-President Tim Babcock says every community has a need for kindness and people performing selfless acts.  He says this year they would like to invite all the kids of the area to a sliding party at Kin Park.  The event will take place from 1 to 4 pm Saturday.  He says members of the club will be there to hand out hot chocolate and all kids will have their name entered to win a pool party at the Victoria Inn and this event will be weather permitting.

Babcock adds last year the Flin Flon Kinsmen were one of 134 clubs to participate in events across the country. They hung out at the Orange Toad for the afternoon and asked people to pay kindness forward as they paid for everyone’s beverages which came to a total over four hundred dollars.
