The Regional Director for Manitoba with Diabetes Canada Andrea Kwasnicki says there are thousands of Manitobans living with Diabetes. She explains there are 125 thousand Manitobans that are living with diabetes, there’s another 202 thousand that are in the pre-diabetes stage and then another 54 thousand that are likely living with diabetes and don’t know it.

Diabetes Canada was rebranded from the Canadian Diabetes Association this week.  Kwasnicki says the idea is to shine a brighter light to make more people aware of diabetes as a bold step towards ending diabetes.
