Kendal Netmaker

The Flin Flon Aboriginal Friendship Center is holding their third annual Northern Connections Job Fair tomorrow.  Career Counselor Jolene Gardiner from their Partners in Careers Program says it’s an opportunity for people to check out career and training programs in the Flin Flon area. She says they will have their keynote speaker who is Kendal Netmaker coming from Saskatoon and he is the founder and CEO of Neechi Gear.  She adds they will also have many booths with different employers including Hudbay, Northern Mining Academy, Northlands College, UCN, First Nations University of Canada, the Armed Forces, Vale, Walmart, the Flin Flon Fire Department, a whole lot of employers and training services with lots of good information for people.

The Job Fair is free for anyone interested to attend at the Flin Flon Community Hall from 10 to 3 tomorrow with the key note speaker’s presentation at 12:15.
