You Can Help Reduce the Red Tape Problem.

Every year hundreds of millions of dollars are paid by Manitobans due to government red tape and regulations.  Jonathan Alward with the Canadian Federation of Independent business says that’s about to change.  He explains the Executive Vice-President for CFIB issued a national challenge to every one of the provinces to commit to one for one red tape legislation which means for every new piece of regulation coming in one piece has to come out and Manitoba was the first one to agree to such legislation and they even took it a step further by agreeing to a two for one red tape legislation law for the first four years.

The province is looking for your input on how to reduce red tape.  You can share your red tape headaches at www.gov.mb.ca/reduceredtape until February 20th.
