Technology and Hockey Were Part of the School Board Meeting.

Hapnot teacher Daniel Dillon presented his findings before the Flin Flon School Board of Trustees Tuesday night from the International Society for Technology In Education Conference he attended earlier this year.  Dillon took in some twenty workshops gathering information that will benefit the Division.  He also said the event was an excellent opportunity for networking with other teachers.  You can find the link to his presentation in this story at www.flinflononline.com.           ( Link https://goo.gl/j5yopb).

             

Secretary Treasurer Heather Fleming reported the Flin Flon School Division Hockey Academy has received hockey equipment to gear up thirteen students at a cost of four to five hundred dollars per child.   A huge thanks goes to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program. 

             

Superintendent Constance McLeese reported the hiring of mentors at Ruth Betts School Monique Wall, Kaitlyn Kirk and Brett Wenger.  Mentoring at McIsaac are Alaura Adams, Taylor Oliynyk and William Eikel.
