Callinex Mines reports two drill holes have been completed at their Pine Bay Project located near Hudbay’s Triple Seven Mine in Flin Flon.  One hole was to test a high priority borehole electromagnetic target located immediately north of the previously known Sourdough VMS deposit and deepening of a hole previously drilled by Placer Dome just northeast of Callinan’s new Pine Bay East VMS discovery.  Drill core from both holes are being logged and will be cut and shipped to a laboratory for analysis.

Callinan has also modified plans to include deepening of two other Placer Dome drill holes. They state it is now understood that the Lower VMS Horizon previously drilled which hosts the Pine Bay East discovery along strike to the south is approximately 60 meters further to the northwest than previously interpreted by Placer Dome geologists and was not properly drill tested.  Placer Dome explored the Project from 1991 to 93.
